Why travel to Jamaica when you can travel down route 18 to the Wilson Boat House and Five Coconuts? It's the closest thing to a tropical paradise, and miles away from ordinary. Five Coconuts was inspired by the rum shacks and local barbeque stands that are sprinkled throughout the islands. Local hangouts, many times not more than a few sheets of plywood, painted in brilliant Caribbean colors with a thatched roof, command squatters rights on some of the most spectacular real estate in the world. You will see them planted among palm trees on the edge of a white crescent beach or perched at the edge of an overlook spot. With nothing more than a galvanized water trough filled with ice-cold local beer, an open-air frill serving up spicy island fare, and a boom box kicking out the best Bob Marley, these simple establishments hold a position on the island far more important than their handmade structures would suggest.
As our motto goes... "It's an experience." Stop by and reward yourself with one of our special tropical mixers using only the best liquor of the tropics, or relive your experiences in the sunny tropical zone with numerous pictures and island maps displayed from floor to ceiling...or, try your hand at music with our steel drum.
